How Can Physical Therapy Help?

Our Doctor of Physical Therapy has been properly trained in the application of Kinesio tape to help correct abnormal muscle function. Through the alleviation of the stress affecting the musculature, pressure is relieved from nearby nerves, blood, and lymph vessels. As these systems begin to function properly, inflammation and pain begin to decrease, and the restoration of the full range of motion is accomplished. In contrast to traditional taping methods that are primarily utilized to reduce motion and stabilize the joint, Kinesio taping is applied in such a way that it doesn’t cause compression of the underlying structures.

If you are suffering from pelvic, back, neck or just your whole body. This is the place to be.  Dr. WIinnia is amazing. She helped me with exercises i can do at home. They have a app with the exercises so I can refer to it if I forget how. They are flexible with your schedule and willing to fit you in if you need to be seen. I had hip replacement surgery about 3 years ago and have enduring a lot of hip/back pain since! I'm an active 63 yr old woman and the hip was hurting so much that even walking was painful.  I went to an Orthopedic Doc and based on my Xray, he said that I was not a candidate for hip replacement because i still had cartilage.  He suggested PT and Celebrex (an anti inflammatory) next step would be steroid shots.  I'm so glad that I went to see Dr Julius because I don't need any medication.  I received shock wave therapy, dry needling with electrification and manual manipulation.  Additionally Dr Julius gave be some additional exercises to strengthen weaker areas of hip movement.  I completed my therapy in mid May(2026) and 6 weeks later, I feel great.

I didn't even know the ailments they worked on with me were healable. Dr. Winnie was very knowledgeable and carefully explained how the pelvic floor  works, all the muscles surrounding it and how strengthening those muscles keeps the Elimination process operating as it should. Her enthusiasm for her work is evident, and her kindness helped me be comfortable with the process. Then I was evaluated by Dr. Louis for hip pain.
